Meet Leayzia Shiver, our dedicated Case Manager here at the Law Office of Michael Witherspoon. Leayzia holds herself to a standard of excellence. Her keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others is carried in everything that she does. Leayzia oversees and manages the heart beat of the firm, personal injury. Doing so, she manages the entire life cycle of all the personal injury cases. Ensuring that every case runs smoothly and efficiently Leayzia’s ability to manage tasks, procure medical records, prepare supporting documentation is fundamental.

In addition, Leayzia also assists in managing the operations of the firm. Leayzia manages to balance the needs of the clients, the attorneys and staff effortlessly. She does so by keeping everyone up to date on pertinent matters and is always willing to step in to help where help is needed. There isn’t a challenge or an opportunity to help that Leayzia is not willing to meet, and does meet exceptionally. Before stepping into this pivotal role, she served as our Client Liaison, where her warm personality and exceptional communication skills made her a beloved figure among our clients.

Born and raised in Columbia, SC, Leayzia graduated from Westwood High School in Blythewood in 2021. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, with aspirations to attend law school upon graduation. Her friendly demeanor, quick thinking, and genuine compassion have been invaluable in providing our clients with the peace and clarity they need during challenging times.

Outside of work and school, Leayzia cherishes every moment spent with her daughter, Nyla. She avidly enjoys getting lost in a good book, hiking through nature, and exploring new destinations. When she’s not juggling her responsibilities, you’ll likely find her relaxing with friends, making the most of every moment.
